I had a great Sunday lunch outing at Beresta and I highly recommend this restaurant. ‘Beresta’ is the term used for the deep fried, golden brown, crispy onions that are used as topping for Biryanis. An authentic Dum Biryani is incomplete without layers and topping of Beresta. With Dum Biryani as a signature dish of this restaurant, the name Beresta seems totally apt. Apart from Biryani, they serve a host of delicious Mughlai, Indian and Chinese dishes as well.
We tried the vegetable Platter, which has tandoori broccolis, potatoes, mushrooms and yummy seekh kebabs. Paneer Butter Masala and Aloo Gobhi Adhraki were the best I have had yet. Beresta serves all the mains in variety of gravies ranging from red, green, white and many other gravies, so guests are free to choose the gravy of their choice with the main Mughlai dishes that they order. We ordered red gravy for the Paneer Butter Masala and it was super tasty.
The tandoori rotis were soft and perfect accomplice to the tasty main dishes. The Vegetable Hyderabadi Biryani was a delectable offering with raita, salan and fried onions. We finished off this amazing meal with the sumptuous gajar ka halwa, which was delightfully presented and tasted great. Oreo Milkshake was yummy, too.
Overall, great dining experience in beautiful location, variety of dishes, value for money and great service. Highly recommended!
