Shurooq’s exceptional Ramadan offerings across various destinations including Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Qasba, Al Montazah Parks, Al Heera and Khorfakkan beaches, Al Noor Island, Mleiha Archaeological Centre, The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah, and Sharjah Collections by MYSK, will feature delightful Iftar and Suhoor experiences, traditional music performances, food markets, as well as sports and cultural activities that will delight visitors of all ages. Gastronomical delight for food lovers
One of the highlights of the Ramadan experience this year is the highly anticipated food festival at Al Qasba, one of Shurooq’s destinations. During the 10-day festival from March 30 to April 8, Al Qasba Food Festival 2023 will host a variety of food-related activities, professional chef competitions, workshops, and roaming entertainment, providing an unforgettable experience for families and food lovers.
The festival, with the slogan “A World of Flavors,” will showcase street food pavilions, designed to reflect the shape of different cultures, and featuring retail and F&B kiosks. Visitors can enjoy a selection of food and beverages from around the world, including traditional meet & greet ceremonies symbolising the start of the festival.
The festival will also feature a professional chef arena, where celebrity chefs will display their talents. Roaming entertainment and food mascots will add to the festive atmosphere. Competitions will be held in different segments such as ice-carving, fruit-carving, chocolate carving, bread decoration to name a few.
Along with the food festival, a fitness series will also kick off at Al Qasba, with a free health check-ups for all visitors.

Magic of Ramadan Nights
Al Heera Beach and Al Majaz Waterfront and Al Montazah Parks, Sharjah’s premier entertainment destinations known for their beautiful locations, family-friendly environments, and exciting events, will feature Ramadan Nights every Friday to Sunday (weekend) from March 24 to April 9, from 9pm to 11:45pm.
At Al Heera Beach, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy live music performances — oud, qanun, harp, violin etc — and festive decorations lined up throughout the walkways. Al Majaz Waterfront will feature live performances, F&B, and stunning decors, in addition to the daily Midfaa Al Iftar programme throughout Ramadan.
Meanwhile, the Ramadan Nights edition at Khorfakkan Beach will take place from March 23 to April 20. Visitors can look forward to live performances, special offers and promotions from tenants, and a unique decorative Ramadan photo lighting experience. Additionally, Khorfakkan Beach will also feature a Ramadan Fitness programme, allowing visitors to stay active during the Holy Month.
Luxurious Iftar and Staycation
This Ramadan, Al Noor Island offers a one-of-a-kind experience for visitors to enjoy an unforgettable ‘Iftar by the Bay’. Indulge in a delectable meal while immersing in the beauty of the island’s natural surroundings, making for a truly unique dining experience. The package — AED 180 per adult and AED 95 per child — gives access to the butterfly house, where one can marvel at the beauty of these delicate creatures in their natural habitat. The sky watch session with an experienced educator is also included, allowing you to learn more about the stars and constellations above. With so much to see and do, Al Noor Island’s Iftar by the Bay promises to be an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.
At ‘Mleiha’s Ramadan Star Lounge’, guests will experience the serenity of Ramadan in a tranquil environment, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. In addition to indulging in a mouth-watering Iftar menu, guests can enjoy complimentary stargazing from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm, meet beautiful horses and capture memorable moments with a photo-op, and let kids have fun in the playing area. There are also common area games like carrom, giant jenga, and other board games to keep everyone entertained. This is a shared camp experience, where guests will have their own tables for dinner, ensuring a safe and enjoyable time for all. The tickets are priced at AED 250 per adult and AED 150 per child.
Guests can enjoy a luxurious Ramadan stay at The Chedi Al Bait Sharjah, where kids eat free and an Iftar buffet is available from AED 199 per person. For those seeking a more private experience, Al Bait offers the opportunity for a private Iftar and Suhoor under the unique Burjeel tower Majlis and courtyard for AED 250 per person.
