The entrance to Chutney’s Restaurant  is in stark contrast to the Neolithic stairs that lead up to this popular Indian restaurant. Once there, you are greeted by a Rajasthani fort- style gateway leading to an antique Indian swing, where guests take pride in being clicked. The mosaic flooring adds a dash of elegance to the stunning ambience. However, from Thursday to Sunday, this swing is replaced by the mellifluous singers who entertain with live ghazals and Bollywood songs.

Chutney’s Restaurant provides a wholesome Indian meal experience in the superlative to sum up in a nutshell.

The food was lip- smacking to say the least. I had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and found that everything from food to ambience to service was first class. We tried the Anjeer ke Kabab with Salted Lassi, and Jain-style  Paneer Makhani and Yellow Dal followed by delectable Gulab Jamuns. The service wins a big thumbs up and so does the food.

Chutney’s Restaurant is also known for its lip-smacking thali served in beautiful silverware. So, if you are looking at Indian fine dining experience with authentic Nawabi food, you have reached the right destination just as I did!!! And while you enjoy the delightful array of Nawabi dishes, the live ghazal renditions provide a perfect complement to a memorable dining experience.

Chutney’s Restaurant prides in its authentic recipes handed down from generations, its exclusive take on traditional “Dum Pukht” cooking style while reliving the culinary sensation experienced in the erstwhile royal kitchen of Awadh, now known as Lucknow. The pickles and chutneys are all prepared in-house using fresh ingredients and I give a big thumbs up to them.
