While the world screams “Vegan”, UAE has taken the concept pretty seriously and for all good reasons. The demand for vegan food is growing radically as is a sharp rise in the number of plant- based eateries. Ahead of the World Vegan day that falls on Nov 1, heres’a lowdown on some vegan food outlets in UAE-

Avocadolicious
Location- Jumeirah

Avocadolicious has opened its doors serving up Dubai’s most delicious and innovative avocado snacks and dishes to the avocado lovers. A UAE-homegrown brand, Avocadolicious is the brainchild of Astro Balingit who was inspired and excited by the massive success of avocado restaurants in New York and wants to spread the avo love throughout the UAE. Avocadolicious opened its first operation in the Floating Market in 2018. Happily overwhelmed with the huge demand of UAE’s avolovers, Avocadolicious took the concept to Global Village in 2019 were they were awarded ‘Best Kiosk of the Season’ for that year.

The café serves up a range of delicious bites across Avo Snacks, the Guac Collection, Salads, Sorbets, Drinks and Desserts. For those craving a sweet treat, desserts include the refreshing Avo Popsicle, Sorbet Cone or Smoothie.

Let’s Organic Restaurant & Café
Location- Al Wasl Road, Dubai

 The restaurant serves organic Mediterranean and Italian cuisine with predominant vegan and gluten-free options. Guests can expect pastas, risottos and fresh fruit juices served in a chic space with minimalistic decor, featuring plenty of greenery and natural light. Let’s Organic restaurant and café’s menu is 100% organic, some of its signature dishes including variety of pastas, risotto alla milanese (organic rice with saffron) and wood fired pizzas. Once you have enjoyed  the awesome vegan food, take a stroll down the Let’s Organic Supermarket, located in the same building complex for fresh organic produce and foodstuff.

Seva Table
Location- Jumeirah, Dubai

Tuck into instagrammable food at SEVA Table, Dubai’s first plant-based café.  Conscious eating is a growing trend, with more people flocking towards plant-based and vegan food that’s packed with flavour, nutrients and no nasties.  Recently rebranded, SEVA Table, offers just that and more. There is also no wifi there; connecting at SEVA means with each other, not logging in!

Brooklyn Creamery
