The Executive Sous Chef at Kamoon at Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana won the Guest Champion Award for Best Chef of the Year at Rotana Hotels.

A man of many titles, Ahmad Al Daikh, popularly known as ‘Chef Abu-Halab’, brings years of culinary expertise to the kitchen of Kamoon restaurant at Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana along with a unique variety in his food offering. He drew his inspiration for cooking several years ago which has led him to the path of gastronomy. Having worked at Kamoon in the past, Chef Abu-Halab has returned and is ready to dive back into his culinary journey.

Chef Ahmad is a goal-oriented individual with over 18 years of cross-cultural experience and has developed and refined his culinary techniques and skills in Strategic planning, F&B operations and other aspects. Having worked in traditional and contemporary restaurants, Chef Ahmad has an eye for detail and has previously executed a variety of successful concepts.

Aside from holding an excellent record in preparing and cooking diverse culinary creations, Chef Abu-Halab is a talented leader who has always strived for success. He has efficiently managed restaurant operations, planned menus and participated in different food festivals. With a strong passion for cooking and implementing new flavours, he makes great efforts to bring the latest innovation to the cooking scene.
